The Elite Dolphin Swimming Badge from SLS
Swim 750 m breaststroke. Swim 300 m backstroke. Jump into the water from a diving board, pier, starting block, or boat while wearing clothes and a life jacket, followed by 5 minutes of floating in a curled-up position without moving your arms or legs. Tread water for 5 minutes. Throw a lifebuoy twice. Lifesaving – Jump from the pool edge or dock with a lifebuoy, then swim 25 m with the lifebuoy, followed by retrieving a lifesaving dummy or weight from a depth of 1.80 m, followed by towing a partner 25 m using the lifebuoy. Retrieving a person from the pool edge or dock.
NOTE! All tasks must be performed consecutively without rest. The diving portion may therefore consist of multiple attempts. Clear the airways, demonstrate mouth-to-mouth resuscitation, and place the person in the recovery position. Call for help. Theory—Swimming, boating, and ice safety rules; emergency procedures.
After training in these skills, you can proceed to Elite Dolphin Gold with a solid foundation of knowledge.
